For those who offer alternative therapies, they are burned quite frequently, especially in China and Japan.  Alternative practitioners believe that the aroma, along with forms of acupuncture can bring about a harmonious balance to the mind and body, thereby improving an individual’s quality of life substantially.  Massage techniques often go along with this form of aromatherapy as well.  These, together, offer comfort and a way to relax, escaping from the chaos of daily life if only for a little while.
